Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Present account from inside the app. Support is available if you can no longer access the account.
Delete your account in Present
Open Present, go to Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm the permanent deletion. You must be signed in and online. Deletion begins immediately after the in-app request succeeds and cannot be undone.
Email is not the required deletion mechanism. If you cannot access the app or sign in to the account, email support@trypresent.app from the account's email address for help. We may need to verify that you control the account before completing a support-assisted deletion.
What deletion removes
Deleting your account removes the account and its authentication record. It also removes associated user-generated content, including events you host, event participation, photos you uploaded, event covers, invite access, and related album content from active product systems.
Other participants may retain copies they previously downloaded or shared outside Present. Present cannot delete those independent copies.
Limited records we may retain
Present may anonymize and retain limited safety, moderation, and audit records when needed to document decisions, investigate or prevent abuse, protect users, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Those records are not used to recreate your account.
Private evidence, operational logs, and backup copies may remain for limited periods under normal safety, security, and recovery processes. Access remains restricted and retained copies are deleted or overwritten according to those processes unless longer retention is legally required.
Privacy choices and help
Account deletion is permanent. Before deleting, save any event photos you want to keep and consider whether an event should be transferred or concluded for other participants.
For questions about deletion or another privacy choice, contact support@trypresent.app. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, payment details, or unnecessary sensitive information.
