Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Present. By creating an account or using the app or website, you agree to them and to the Community Rules.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Present. If the law where you live requires a parent or guardian to consent to your use of the service, you must have that consent.

Provide accurate account information, keep access to your account secure, and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except to the extent caused by Present's failure to use reasonable security measures.

Events and invite links

Present lets hosts create events, invite guests, collect limited photos, and reveal shared albums. Hosts are responsible for choosing event settings and using host controls appropriately. Participants are responsible for the content and activity they contribute.

Treat invite links as private access credentials. Share them only with intended guests, do not publish or forward them without the host's permission, and understand that a person with a working invite link may be able to join and access event content.

Content and licence

You retain ownership of content you upload. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, share, and make that content available to event participants.

You grant Present a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt for technical delivery, display, and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and maintain Present and to comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except for limited backup, legal, safety, and moderation evidence retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Community Rules

The Community Rules are part of these terms. You must not use Present for sexual exploitation or pornography, violence or self-harm promotion, harassment, hate, threats, privacy violations, unauthorized images, illegal content, impersonation, spam, or other conduct prohibited by those rules.

Use reporting, blocking, and host controls responsibly. Do not submit knowingly false or abusive reports, attempt to evade enforcement, or misuse safety tools to target another person.

Moderation and enforcement

Present may review reports and relevant private evidence; remove content from user-facing areas; remove participants; record account warnings; suspend or restrict accounts; terminate accounts; and preserve limited evidence and audit records when reasonably needed to enforce these terms, protect people or the service, investigate misuse, or comply with law.

Reported content may remain visible while review is pending, and a report is not automatically approved. Enforcement depends on context, severity, history, and risk. You can request review of an administrator decision through the support contact in the Community Rules.

Ending use of Present

You may stop using Present at any time and can delete your account from Settings. Present may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach of these terms, safety risk, unlawful use, or conduct that threatens users, service integrity, or our ability to operate Present.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including content ownership, the limited rights needed for retained evidence and backups, disclaimers, liability limits, and enforcement records.

Service availability and liability

Present is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it reliable and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent storage of every file. Keep copies of content you cannot afford to lose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Present is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Contact

Questions about these terms, enforcement, or your account can be sent to support@trypresent.app. Safety and appeal requests can also use the contact published on the Support page.
