Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Present handles information when you use its accounts, invite-only events, shared media, safety tools, and support services.
Information we handle
Account data includes your name, email address, profile details, internal account identifiers, authentication records, sessions, and information received from the sign-in provider you choose.
Event and media data includes event titles and settings, invite links, host and guest participation, photos, covers, captions, timestamps, storage references, upload and reveal status, and album activity such as viewing or downloading.
Safety data includes reports, report reasons and optional details, subject and event identifiers, blocking relationships, review status and deadlines, account safety status, and administrator audit records. Audit records can contain action reasons and private operational notes.
Operational data can include technical request, device, app, error, log, performance, and diagnostic information made available to Present or its hosting providers. We use it to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, not for advertising tracking.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts; create and join events; process, store, reveal, display, and download shared media; operate invite and host controls; provide blocking, reporting, moderation, and account deletion; answer support and privacy requests; and maintain the service.
We also use limited information to investigate abuse, enforce the Terms and Community Rules, protect users and the service, diagnose failures, prevent fraud, comply with law, and document moderation decisions.
Visibility and sharing
People with access to the same event can see event details, participant information, and album content made available within that event. Anyone who receives a working invite link may be able to join, so only share links with intended guests and remember that recipients may save or reshare content they can access.
Present administrators can access reports, account information, audit history, and private media evidence when needed for support, security, or moderation. Evidence links are short-lived and access-controlled, but the underlying private evidence may be retained after content is removed from user-facing areas.
We do not sell personal information and do not use advertising trackers. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or respond to a valid legal request.
Service providers
Supabase provides database and private media storage infrastructure. Vercel hosts the web application and server operations. Resend delivers operational and authentication emails. These providers process information on Present's behalf to provide their services.
Authentication providers such as Apple, Google, or Discord process sign-in information under their own privacy terms when you choose them. Present receives the account information and identifiers needed to create and secure your Present account; it does not receive your provider password.
Retention and deletion
We retain account, event, and media data while needed to provide Present. In-app account deletion removes the account and associated user-generated content as described on the Account Deletion page. Event hosts can also remove content or participants from events they control.
Limited safety and audit records may be anonymized and retained after account deletion to document decisions, prevent abuse, protect users, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Removed content can remain as private moderation evidence. Operational logs and backups are retained for limited periods under normal security and recovery cycles and are not used to recreate a deleted account.
Your choices
You can choose what you upload, leave events, control who receives your invite links, block or unblock users, report concerns, use host removal controls where available, and delete your account in Present Settings.
For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, contact support@trypresent.app. We may need to verify control of the account before acting on account-specific information. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for safety, security, or law.
Age and contact
Present is intended for people aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to Present, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Questions about this policy or Present's privacy practices can be sent to support@trypresent.app.
